Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and verify inventory using barcode scanners, ensuring stock levels are maintained and organized.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision and speed to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy, ability to read and interpret warehouse labels, and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
- Driving: Valid driver's license may be required depending on specific role requirements.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
