Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, verifying shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Packing & Shipping: Pack, label, and prepare merchandise for distribution using appropriate materials and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure stock levels match system data.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, following all safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and tidy to ensure efficient workflow and prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule, including weekends or overtime if needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping labels.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately.
