Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock organization.
- Packaging: Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all items are securely packaged and labeled.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including shipping logs and receiving reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory management software.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced team setting.
