Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a positive and professional attitude upon entry to the store.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering inquiries, and providing product recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle customer complaints and issues with empathy and resolve them to the customer's satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor environment.
- Restock inventory and ensure product displays are up-to-date and promotional materials are accurate.
- Cash handling duties including balancing drawers and processing returns/exchanges.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with handheld scanners or POS systems.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are recommended.
