Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and document health records accurately
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency services
- Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Participate in weekend team briefings and continuing education
Qualifications
- Current Maryland nursing license or medical certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Valid Maryland driver's license
