Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues during weekend hours.
- Maintain and update computer systems, networks, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and software updates for remote and on-site users.
- Monitor system logs and alert administrators to any potential security threats or performance bottlenecks.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the company knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with the weekday team to ensure seamless handover of ongoing projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on server rooms and network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in technical support, help desk, or IT operations (1+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Valid driverβs license and access to a vehicle for occasional site visits.
