Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling systems for weekend operations
- Assist with patient intake, registration, and insurance verification processes
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families in high-volume weekend settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and escalate critical issues appropriately
- Support weekend facility operations and maintain a safe, organized environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare or customer service role
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency with electronic health records and scheduling software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover varying weekend hours (Saturday/Sunday)
- Basic medical terminology knowledge required
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
