Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely load and unload shipments from delivery trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping: Properly pack items to prevent damage during transit and prepare them for shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
