Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning devices to manage inventory flow.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts, receive shipments, and ensure accurate stock levels in the warehouse management system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Space Optimization: Maintain organized storage zones and assist in general warehouse maintenance duties.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure daily operational goals are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly; comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM) or other rotating weekend shifts.
- Documentation: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid state-issued ID.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
