Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by picking, packing, and scanning items using warehouse management systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure all customer orders are processed correctly and prepared for timely shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to streamline weekend operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED certificate required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify data accuracy and follow standard operating procedures.
- Experience: Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counting.
