Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in healthcare, finance, and critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits of machine learning models using bias detection tools and adversarial testing protocols
- Develop real-time ethical monitoring systems that track AI decision-making against evolving global standards
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to ensure ethical protocols scale with next-gen processing capabilities
- Author position papers for the Global AI Ethics Council, influencing international policy development
- Mentor junior ethicists while establishing departmental best practices for responsible AI development
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven expertise in bias mitigation frameworks (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Published research on AI ethics in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or IEEE)
- Experience with international policy bodies (OECD, IEEE, or UN AI Advisory Board)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and generative AI
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML interpretability libraries (SHAP, LIME)
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., Stanford's HAI certificate or IBM's AI Ethics Practitioner)
