Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps identifying paradigm-shifting innovations in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to position company at technological inflection points
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build partnerships with research institutions and government innovation initiatives
- Mentor next-generation futurists and innovation strategists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
