Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) and develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead innovation workshops with C-suite executives to align on 2026 vision
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Architect ethical frameworks for exponential technology deployment
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough capabilities with $50M+ annual budget
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or tech leadership with Fortune 500/Unicorn experience
- Deep expertise in at least two frontier technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or exponential technology
- Proven track record of scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Strategic Foresight
- Experience with scenario planning and speculative design methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite/board experience
