Responsibilities
- Design and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Lead moonshot projects with $10M+ budgets in partnership with Stanford/MIT
- Anticipate global tech disruptions through predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Drive patent development (15+ filings/year) in emerging domains
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and engineers
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members
- Forge partnerships with DARPA and NASA for joint innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership at FAANG or equivalent tech giant
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in forecasting tech trends (TAM, SAM, SOM analysis)
- Published research in Nature or Science journals
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and predictive modeling tools
