Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight roadmap identifying emerging trends, threats, and opportunities across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Conduct horizon-scanning research through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and global innovation ecosystems
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and resource allocation
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content including whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry reports
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation pipeline maturity and ROI on futuristic initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and emerging tech assessment frameworks
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech commercialization pathways
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovation strategies
