Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and cultural trends to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs and implementation timelines
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for potential futures and black swan events
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused products and services
- Present actionable insights to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and innovation specialists
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Strong data visualization and storytelling abilities with complex future scenarios
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or quantum computing trend analysis
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or innovation methodologies
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
