Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal shifts through trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and anthropologists
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Reports' for executive stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging startup partnerships in deep tech
- Design ethical guardrails for next-generation AI deployment
- Represent company at global futurist forums and innovation summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or emerging tech innovation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (required)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executable strategies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
