Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and socio-cultural shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 strategic foresight framework, including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into development roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future-facing topics
- Mentor cross-functional teams on strategic foresight methodologies and future literacy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy and product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating past strategic foresight projects or published future-oriented work
