Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026+ strategic foresight initiatives using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with market needs
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for 2026 product launches
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor global disruptors and regulatory shifts impacting future markets
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFMP)
- Experience building innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
