Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AI, quantum computing, and biotech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercial potential
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor emerging talent through Horizon's Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in innovation leadership
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to market by 2026+
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum, biotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Strong executive presence with C-suite influencing capabilities
- Experience securing multi-million R&D budgets and partnerships
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
