As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and venture partners to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities. Your strategic insights will directly influence our $2B+ innovation portfolio and shape how we navigate the technological landscape of the mid-2020s.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech) and market disruptions through 2026-2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for next-generation product innovation and market entry strategies
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints to accelerate 2026 roadmap milestones
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in emerging technologies with proven impact on market disruption
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Track record of launching category-defining products in regulated industries
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CSF, CFP)
- Experience scaling innovation in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (Harvard/MIT/WSJ)
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and socioeconomic megatrends
