Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum-AI algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum neural networks
- Develop predictive models for quantum supremacy milestones by 2026
- Secure $5M+ in research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature Physics and IEEE Transactions
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in tensor networks and variational quantum eigensolvers
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) frameworks
- Strong background in AI/ML (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
