Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-era digital infrastructure prototypes
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5+ year commercial viability
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and quantum applications
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with academic institutions to shape future tech curricula
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI targets
- Mentor junior futurists through our proprietary 'Future-Ready' program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Cognitive Science
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government-level clearance
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
