Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend reports with actionable insights for product development
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and evaluate future-focused startups
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
