Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Develop and communicate a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business goals, identifying key innovations and emerging technologies for the upcoming years.
- Strategic Foresight: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to proactively adjust our technological direction.
- Technical Governance: Establish best practices for architecture, security, and scalability to ensure our systems are robust and future-proof.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concepts for new technologies, evaluating their feasibility and ROI before full-scale implementation.
- Resource Planning: Collaborate with engineering leads to forecast talent needs and ensure the team has the skills required to execute the 2026 vision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology strategy, software engineering, or product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic planning role.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of defining long-term technology strategies and successfully implementing them in complex environments.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of modern software architectures (Cloud, Microservices, AI/ML) and emerging tech trends (Web3, Quantum Computing, Edge Computing).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across diverse teams.
