Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, welcoming attitude and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering inquiries, and recommending items based on their needs.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves to ensure products are always available.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment at all times.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes or reaching high shelves.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills quickly.
