Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 10-15 staff members to ensure productivity and safety compliance
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely shipping and receiving schedules
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational adjustments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Valid California driver's license
