Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging tech (quantum, AI, neurotech) into enterprise ecosystems
- Conduct cross-industry scenario planning for societal and market shifts through 2030
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 24-month development cycles
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage a $5M annual innovation fund supporting high-potential moonshot projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ year market foresight
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation frameworks implemented
- Experience with ethical technology governance frameworks (IEEE, EU AI Act)
