- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmap targeting 2026 technology horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startup partnerships for strategic acquisition
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Drive adoption of sustainable and ethical technology standards across R&D
- Mentor talent in future-focused methodologies and foresight analysis
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through compelling business cases
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching scalable innovations with measurable ROI
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Strong executive communication with ability to articulate complex futures
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech transformations
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation incubation
