Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security systems and generative AI applications
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercial viability within 3-5 year cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government tech initiatives
- Drive sustainable technology integration across product development pipelines
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, or renewable energy)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, MIT Sloan Review, etc.)
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $5M for experimental technology projects
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristic Studies preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption curve analysis
