Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging fields
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors influencing technology adoption
- Build and maintain a network of industry thought leaders and academic pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of anticipating and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technologies into cohesive narratives
- Published thought leadership or patents in technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 or startup environments
