Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ implementation across quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for healthcare, climate tech, and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop white papers and thought leadership frameworks for C-suite stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation for experimental technology incubation
- Partner with academic institutions to pioneer breakthrough research initiatives
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members at quarterly innovation summits
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in launching at least two emerging tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting frameworks
