Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce comprehensive ethical guidelines for AI development, focusing on transparency, fairness, and accountability.
- Conduct predictive impact assessments for emerging technologies, specifically in the fields of quantum computing and biotechnology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ethical considerations into the software development lifecycle.
- Advocate for responsible innovation in regulatory bodies and public forums to shape industry standards for 2026 and beyond.
- Lead workshops and seminars to educate stakeholders on the societal implications of futuristic technologies.
- Monitor global technological trends and provide strategic recommendations to the C-Suite regarding potential risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or a related field with a focus on technology ethics.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic planning, technology consulting, or AI policy development.
- Deep understanding of current and upcoming technologies, including Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and Quantum Algorithms.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex moral dilemmas.
- Proven track record of communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
