Responsibilities
- Lead research on emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact projections
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating futuristic tech into enterprise ecosystems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, biotech interfaces)
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Anticipate ethical and societal implications of emerging innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts to market-ready products
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
