Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships or acquisition
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen products and services
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and manage a global network of academic and industry innovation partners
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal incubation programs
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation with ROI justification
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or venture capital
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum algorithms, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs within Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
