Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) with commercial potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, patents, and thought leadership
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Impact Assessment preferred
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental tech initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio showcasing published forecasts or implemented future-tech strategies
