Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum AI, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with MIT, Stanford, and NASA partnerships
- Anticipate geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies through horizon scanning
- Develop commercialization strategies for breakthrough innovations in climate tech and neurointerfaces
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members to inform strategic investments
- Mentor a team of futurists and technologists in speculative design methodologies
- Secure $50M+ in venture funding for experimental projects through stakeholder alignment
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (portfolio required)
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with published research in Nature/Science
- Deep understanding of Singularity University frameworks and exponential technology trends
- Certification in Futures Studies (from Foresight Institute or equivalent)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation 2025+
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence in high-stakes environments
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
