- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic, biocomputing) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI across all business units
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor technical teams on futuristic methodologies and next-generation frameworks
- Oversee technology incubation projects with $5M+ annual innovation budgets
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning or innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching products based on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology specialization
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex futuristic concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M and leading cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futures studies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
