Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and emerging capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI agents, quantum algorithms, biotech integrations)
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, climate tech, or neurotech
- Published research or patents in future-forward technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical audiences
