Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proofing enterprise operations and product portfolios
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Design and implement future-state scenarios for Fortune 500 clients
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist practitioners and academic collaborators
- Drive patent strategy for disruptive innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell Two Loops)
