Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and societal shifts to produce 5-year strategic foresight reports
- Design innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops translating foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Develop proprietary trend-forecasting algorithms using machine learning and big data analytics
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Author thought leadership pieces published in Harvard Business Review and WIRED
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience as a professional futurist or innovation strategist at top-tier firms
- Published research on disruptive technologies' socioeconomic impacts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption strategies
- Active membership in Association of Professional Futurists or equivalent body
