Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to forecast disruptive innovations through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Produce executive-level trend reports and strategic recommendations for board presentations
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies using AI-powered trend analysis tools
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) strongly preferred
