Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with disruptive potential
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for technological adoption across global markets
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards through compelling narratives
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership content on technological disruption and future trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully launching technology products with 3+ years lead time
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent professional designation
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Published thought leader in technology or innovation publications
