Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Create and execute a comprehensive strategic roadmap for technological innovation leading up to the 2026 milestone, aligning it with the company's long-term business goals.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research and development projects focusing on cutting-edge technologies, including Quantum Computing integration and advanced AI models.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, design, and executive teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable, scalable product strategies.
- Talent Acquisition & Mentorship: Recruit top-tier talent in emerging tech sectors and mentor high-performing engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation.
- Market Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses of industry trends to identify new opportunities for disruption before the competition.
- Prototyping & Validation: Oversee the rapid prototyping of experimental technologies and validate their feasibility through rigorous testing.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring buy-in for high-risk, high-reward projects.
Qualifications
- Strategic Leadership: 10+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with at least 5 years specifically focused on R&D or Strategic Planning.
- Emerging Tech Expertise: Deep knowledge of technologies expected to mature by 2026, such as AI, AR/VR, and Quantum computing.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and system scalability.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and drive projects from concept to completion in fast-paced environments.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to diverse audiences, including executives and clients.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
