Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory.
- Perform regular system maintenance, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the network administration team to ensure system stability and uptime.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within the Chicago and Ohio areas as needed.
