Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive strategic plan for technology adoption, ensuring alignment with global 2026 infrastructure standards.
- Architecture & Strategy: Lead the architectural design of systems capable of supporting advanced AI models and quantum-ready databases.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex future-tech concepts to C-suite executives and non-technical stakeholders to drive buy-in.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of strategists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential technological obsolescence risks and devise mitigation strategies well in advance of the 2026 deadline.
- Vendor Relations: Evaluate partnerships with emerging tech firms to secure the best tools for the 2026 transition.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in system architecture, strategy consulting, or technical project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker/K8s), and edge computing.
- Future-Forward Knowledge: Familiarity with the projected standards of 2026, including 6G protocols, IoT integration, and advanced AI safety measures.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or equivalent architecture certification is a major plus.
