Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network performance, and system logs during off-peak hours.
- Resolve technical tickets and troubleshoot hardware/software issues reported by morning shifts.
- Perform routine security patching and software updates to minimize system downtime.
- Ensure all data backups are completed successfully and securely.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the remote support team to escalate critical issues.
- Conduct nightly security audits and access control checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for extended periods if required.
