Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against packing slips and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Picking and Packing: Pick and pack customer orders with a focus on accuracy and speed to meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but we will train the right candidate.
