Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and coherence time extension
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototype development
- Conduct performance modeling and benchmarking of quantum systems
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols and fault tolerance
- Track record of publishing peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex quantum systems
- Expertise in superconducting qubits or topological quantum computing
