Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to accelerate machine learning and optimization
- Lead integration of quantum systems with cloud computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Research error correction techniques for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate performance and coherence times
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research or developing production quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Certification in cloud quantum services (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
